Watch Pactor Eric's sermon, "How PCOS can Change the World Through Discipleship Groups," taken from scripture Jude 17-23.

Q. What exactly is a Discipleship Group?
A. The mission statement for our Discipleship Groups is "Growing together in the Spirit." A group is 6-10 people who gather together to strengthen and deepen their relationship with Jesus. There will be groups for couples, men only, women only or a combination of these. Our hope is that Discipleship Groups will be the vehicle, which empowers us as a congregation, "To Know Christ and Make Him Known."

Q. Who belongs in a Discipleship Group?
A. Everyone! Members and non-members are welcome. It is our desire that everyone attending PCOS will find a group to be involved 1n and "Grow together in the Spirit." We would like to have as many people in Discipleship Groups as we have in worship.

Q. How often will the groups meet?
A. Groups will meet once a week for 6-8 week sessions, 3-4 times a year. Groups will have the option to meet on their own during off times.

Q. What if I am already in a small group or Bible study?
A. That's great! You may join in a new discipleship group as well. We are encouraging participation from members who have already been part of a small group. Our hope is that everyone is able to be a part of a group long term.

Q. How do you get to be in a group?
A. Three times a year PCOS will host a group kick-off. Present at the kick-off will be all the HOSTs of all the open groups. Just choose the group that meets your schedule and needs.

Q. Will we meet at the church or in homes?
A. Some Groups will meet in homes and a neighborhood near you! Some will also meet at PCOS. Discipleship Groups will be meeting on various days throughout the week. Look for a time and place that is convenient for you!

Q. Will there be childcare?
A. Childcare will be available for some groups. Discuss your needs with the HOSTs if you require childcare either in home groups of the ones that meet at the church.

Q. I and/or my spouse want to be HOSTs, what is the commitment?
A. HOSTs covenant to be regular and consistent in their leadership of their Discipleship Groups, making it a priority in their life and to attend a training event led by the Pastors 7-8 times a year.

Q. Will membership in Discipleship Groups be opne or closed?
A. Normally, groups will be open until they reach their maximum of 10. There may be special circumstances (important family, personal issues), which make it necessary for the group to be closed for a time.

Q. Will there be a set curriculum?
A. The groups will utilize a curriculum that coincides with the current sermon series. The HOSTs will lead that discussion.
