Sunday School - Joy Jungle

Sunday School is offered from 9:30-10:30am for children two years old (by September 1, 2011) through Kindergarten. 

Tots Class- (Children that are age two by September 1, 2010.) Children learn about God’s love for them through age- and developmentally-appropriate activities.

Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes are in a traditional classroom setting using age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum. Children learn of God’s love through the use of flannel boards, games, drama, art and puppets.

Parents are encouraged to make the decision as to whether their child will feel most comfortable in a classroom situation or the nursery for Walkers. Our goal is to make each child feel happy and loved by God and our church. We ask that all Children and Youth complete a REGISTRATION FORM activities that they participate in at PCOS. This would include Sunday School.

There are many volunteers that generously give of their time and creativity to support the children's programs listed to the left. Of course, teachers and leaders are always needed. If you have a love for children and a heart for Christ, please contact Polly Krapes. Blessing of the Backpacks takes place during 9:30 worship on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012.- all students are invited to bring a backpack to worship!
3rd grade Bibles will be presented Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.
Communion Class is offered for children in first grade and older. This class will meet one time on Sunday, Sept. 30,2012 at 12:15. There is a $5 fee for lunch. Registration will be in September.

Do you want to help your child but don't know how? PCOS is hosting a support group for parents dealing with these special issues. Plan to attend April 26 and May 10 at 6pm and hear from our guest speaker Julie Gettings, LCSW, LMSW. Childcare is provided with a reservation, please contact Jan McCreary.
