Kids Care Club

Meets Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-5pm for 1st - 6th graders. Winter Session to begins Wedensday, Jan. 25 and continues through Feb. 29, 2012. Learn more about mid-week children's programs, Wednesday Nights at PCOS

This mid-week program focuses on mission. Kids learn about the missions of the church and participate in hands-on mission projects. This year we will learn about the Terracycle Project that involves collecting packaging and wrappers that would go in the trash. Then reusing those to produce folders for school children.

Students held a bake sale, during the Spring 2011 session, and raised nearly $200 to purchase food to feed the homeless of Kansas City! The homeless outreach project has been a Youth Ministries project for over a year. Thanks to Kids Club for their financial support.

kids hatsStudents aslo made hats and scarves for kids at Grace United Community Ministries. This was a great hands on project and fun!
