Chancel Choir

Wednesdays at 7:15—9:00pm
The Chancel Choir is dedicated to creating beautiful music to enhance the worship experience and is open to all adults who enjoy singing God’s praises. The choir meets weekly on Wednesday nights (September—May) to prepare music for Sunday worship services.

NEW for the Advent season, "The Messiah" will be performed for the community on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at 7pm! If you love to sing, join us for the fun and fellowship. Contact Robyn Hartfield if you would like to sing with the choir. Listed below is the rehearsal schedule and childcare is provided for all dates:

Nov. 22, Tuesday, 8-9pm
Dec. 7, Wednesday, 8-9pm
Dec. 14, Wednesday, 8-9pm
Dec. 17, Saturday, Dress Rehearsal (Black attire) 8:30-11am
Dec. 18, Sunday, 4-6pm. Dinner is provided for musicians at 6pm!
Dinner is provided for musicains at 6pm. A reception will follow and all are invited to attend!

Dinner is served on Wednesday Nights (Sept.-May) 5:45-6:45pm, only $4/person or $15 max./family. Click here for the dinner menu.

Mini-Concert, Christmas Around the World! Children's vocal choirs and handbells will perform Christmas Carols at dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 6:15pm. Plan to attend, dinner is spaghetti- bring the whole family for a fun evening!

Easter & Christmas Cantatas
Each year the Chancel Choir celebrates the Easter and Christmas seasons with special music. A major musical work is presented to the congregation, involving the Chancel Choir with soloists accompanied by orchestra.
Easter Music will be Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011.
Christmas Cantata will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the 9:30 & 11am worship services.
