Children's Music

Music opportunities for children are scheduled from September to May. We have wrapped up our 2011-2012 season and will resume rehearsals in Sept. 2012. Check back here for all schedules and events. 

What are you doing this summer, July 11-13, 9am Noon?
All kids Pre-K through grade 5 are invited to join us for Music Camp. At "Music Olympics" Kids will sing, ring handbells, if they play an instrument, bring it and share your music! There will be crafts, games and snacks, something for everyone. Cost is only $20 for the first child, $15 for each additional with a $50 max. cost. The community is invited to register- bring your friends.

Director, Natalie Mallare
NEW Handchimes for Kindergarten-grade 2, Wed. 5-5:45pm. This new group will learn how to ring using handchimes, the perfect instrument for little hands and young minds.
Children's Handbell Choir, grades 3-5, Wed. 5-5:45pm. Experience is not needed for this beginner level handbell group. Plan to join in the fun Wednesday, Sept. 8. Rehearsal Schedule is available, click here.

Middle School Handbells, grades 6-8, rehearse Sundays at 4:30pm.
High School Handbells, grades 9-12, rehearse Sunday at 7:30pm.

Children's Choir Director and Coordinator, Mirna Cabrera

Little Lambs (preschool choir) 5:00-5:30pm, Wednesdays.
30-minute preschool music program. Children get to sing, dance and play instruments in a comfortable, fostering and fun setting. They will get to share their songs and motions in worship. 

Children's Choir (grade K-5) Wednesdays at 6:15-7:15pm
This group sings during the worship services periodically, for other special occasions, and participates in the spring musical. Choir focuses on developing beautiful singing voices. Rehearsal Schedule is available, click here.

Join us for Dinner on Wednesday Nights, only $4/person or $15 max./family. Dinners resume Sept. 7, 2011- print the menu!

Orchestra Director, Pam Kelly
Junior Orchestra, grades 8 and younger. This group is open to students who have 1 year experience on their instrument and will rehearse selected Sundays at 11am. They will have the opportunity to play for worship during the year. Students must provide their own strings, woodwind, brass or percussion instrument.  Rehearsal Schedule is available, click here.

1st Wednesday of each month, 9am, OPEN Play for Moms & Kids
