Sermon Series: "Becoming Men and Women of the Manger"
November 30-December 24, 2008
Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, was not born in a palace. Mary gave birth to Him in a cattle stall and his crib was a manger. Philippians tells us that Jesus did not cling to His status as God but became a servant.
We see Jesus' servant-heart throughout the entire Bible. Join Pastor Eric as he looks at several of the prophecies and passages about Jesus and asks the question, "What does it mean to have a servant-heart like Jesus?" Maybe the key to surviving uncertain times is to have the mind of Christ, striving to serve rather than be served?
