“Everything in the heavens and the earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom…” 1 Chronicles 29:11
The Presbyterian Church of Stanley has partnered with Servant Christian Community Foundation (SCCF) for charitable giving. Our Foundation with SCCF allows us to accept nearly any conceivable gift from our donors—from cash and stocks to “complex assets” such as real estate, business interests, estate gifts, and personal property. SCCF only supports causes and organizations that do not conflict with Biblical values, and their board of directors adheres strongly to Christian principles.
All that we have belongs to God. As we have been called to give, it’s important to know that our generosity will have the greatest possible impact on God’s Kingdom. Through our partnership with
SCCF, the church can help you:
Give practically any asset entrusted to you. From real estate or vehicles to estate gifts, our partnership with SCCF offers innovative ways to receive, manage, and liquidate assets, and put the proceeds to work in the Kingdom.
Balance your giving with income needs. If you seek to give more but need to balance your giving with income needs or estate-planning goals, we now have several solutions. SCCF will even work with your professional advisor to ensure that your giving solution matches your life needs.
Support the ministries of the Presbyterian Church of Stanley through your giving. Using the church’s Foundation to maximize your giving furthers our ministry, making it possible for others to experience the joy of giving.
“…for from time to time, those who owned lands or houses sold them…and it (money) was distributed to anyone as he had need.” Acts 4:34-35
What types of assets can the PCOS Foundation process for you?
Real estate – land, houses, vehicles or other properties
Business interests – ownership in closely-held businesses, Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, or Sub-chapter S Corporations
Loan notes – money owed to you through loan notes
Estate gifts – proceeds from wills, trusts, or life insurance policies
Retirement plans – 401Ks, IRAs, or pension plans
Life Insurance – term, whole, universal or variable
Personal property – vehicles, royalties, copyrights, collections, etc.
Why should you donate complex gifts to the PCOS Foundation?
You receive a greater tax deduction, generally for fair market value.
You avoid capital gains taxes on the sale of the asset and lessen your estate tax liability.
SCCF handles the administrative burdens.
Because of your deduction, ultimately more money goes to the church, rather than to the federal government.
To make a gift other than cash or stock to the church, contact SCCF directly at 913-310-0279, and tell them that it is for the Presbyterian Church of Stanley. They will help you with all the details. You can also call Debbie Miller in the church office, 913-681-8180, to help get the transaction started.
