Inclement Weather Policy
The Presbyterian Church of Stanley and the Preschool follows the Blue Valley School District schedule during inclement weather. If Blue Valley closes, the Preschool is closed. If weather is questionable or if school is cancelled due to weather, church staff will determined by 2 pm if church-wide activities will be cancelled for that afternoon or evening.
In the event of severe weather, Sunday 8:15 services may be cancelled. PLEASE refer to channel 5, 9 or 41 for cancellations. You can also check our weather hotline 913-681-8180 ext 50 for cancellations.
In addition, every effort will be made to communicate via e-letter to your email address and posting "cancel notices" on our web-site calendar.
Weather and Safety Drills
Fire Drill Proceedures, please read the PDF for proceedures to follow while in worship. Children will be evacuated from their classroom by Staff and Teachers in the event of a fire emergency. This is a very important point that parents understand.
