Youth
The Mission of the Youth Ministry is to provide a variety of opportunities for ages 6th-12th graders. All can experience the amazing love of Jesus Christ. We try to involve a variety of leaders during the year. Read/print the current CAVE NEWS newsletter.

We ask that all Children and Youth complete a REGISTRATION FORM activities that they participate in at PCOS. If Children or Youth are going to be traveling with a group from PCOS to an event, they will need to complete a PARENT/GAURDIAN CONSENT FORM. Both forms are online and can be dropped at the church office, Welcome Center or faxed to 913-681-8186. Consent forms cannot be faxed due to notary signature. A notatry is in the church office M-F, 9am-4pm, please call to verify on the day you plan to drop in.
TRIPS TO REGISTER FOR:
Middle School Tubing Trip, for grades 6-8, will be Jan. 15-16, 2011. Click to print registration form.
PCOS Ski Trip, for youth and all families, will be Feb. 18-22, 2011. Click to print registration form.
High School Mexico Mission Trip, for students in grades 10-12, will be March 9-16, 2011. Click to print registration form. If you are planning to go to Mexico you will need to participate in our fundraiser dinners- dates TBD....
Sunday School Experience at 9:30am in the CAVE for grades 7-12.
Students meet for announcements and prayer. A variety of media: video, art and music are used to help us draw closer to our faith and one another. Then grades 7 & 8 head upstairs for some small group time.
SECOND SUNDAY Youth Group:
Homeless Outreach in Downtown Kansas City. Please bring gently used clothing in XL and 2XL sizes: sweatshirts and pants, jackets, and bottled water thanks. We meet at PCOS at 2pm, carpool then return by 5pm.
The Gathering Returns!
Wednesdays at 7pm meet in the CAVE for music, worship and talk time about what matters to YOUth today, this week, this year. We usually end around 8:45pm.
Before we gather, we meet for dinner in Fellowship Hall at 6pm, it's only $4/person. Youth Choir will meet at 6:15-7:15pm for those that are rehearsing for the October musical. The rest of the students usually head outside to play games.
