Nursery & Childcare

Our outstanding Nursery staff provides a safe, caring, Christian environment for children in our uniquely decorated Noah’s Ark space. During Sunday services, children enjoy age appropriate playtime, a Sunday School lesson, songs, crafts, and a snack while parents worship. Sunday Nursery care is available during our 9:30 service for children 6 weeks – 4 years old.

  • Our Nursery is located on the first floor. The receptionist or Welcome Team member can guide you.
  • Children may be dropped off 15 minutes before service or scheduled activity by a parent or guardian.
  • Children must be picked up by a parent or guardian immediately following service or scheduled activity.
  • Please label your child’s diaper bag and any other items needed during childcare.
  • Pagers are always available for parents.

Sunday School

Our Children’s Sunday School is for children 4- 12 years of age and takes place on the lower level of the church at 10:45.  We are developing our Sunday School program as we rebuild our church.  Plans are in the works for adult study as well as children’s Sunday School.

Our ministry is blessed to have dedicated teachers and volunteers who develop Christian relationships in a warm and friendly classroom environment. Each week, children build a community of friends and grow in their knowledge of Christ. Our teachers equip your children to show their faith to the world through their words and actions as led by the Holy Spirit.

Children & Church

We believe that attending worship is an important part of a child’s faith development so we encourage families to worship together before or after Sunday School. Children ages 2 – 12 can fill a bag with age appropriate worship activities from the worship cart located in the Narthex. Children can select activities from the cart before all services.

Volunteer

Our volunteers build our children’s foundation of faith through a variety of opportunities. We are always in need of adults and youth who have a heart for Jesus and are willing to share their time and talents. In addition to Sunday School teachers, we need volunteers to assist with mission projects, cutting and preparing materials at home, helping with various activities that arise, assisting in the classroom, singing, baking, welcoming our families on Sundays, and much more. If you have a passion to help children grow in their faith then we have a place for you!
